Hargis & None Dare Call It Treason

Another radio program I listened to
was Billy James Hargis and his
Christian Crusade.
Hargis was a radio preacher out of
Tulsa, Oklahoma and similar to
Carl McIntire decried the Marxist
subversion of American institutions.
He was an early voice protesting sex
education in the public schools and the
harmful influence of Rock music on
American youth.

During this time I came across a copy
of John Stormer’s famous book called
None Dare Call It Treason. This book
was a heavily documented expose’ of
the faults of the Roosevelt and Truman
administrations in terms of Communist
influence and infiltration. As I remember
it claimed this influence continued into
the Eisenhower years and after. I had
read nothing like it and it came out in
1964 just before the Presidential Election.
