Journal for Dino Dig 6

(Note: I have had trouble with posting the last several days)
(Journal entry for May 25, 2006)
Got up this morning and felt regular again. Still have some sinus congestion. Perhaps a little dehydrated from the sun yesterday. This morning we when back to the dig site and did more work on the grids. I am working beside the Rainey family from Tucson, they are on the grids to the left of me. I uncovered more bone fragments in my grid square at several different levels. Sometimes it is difficult to tell the difference between the bones and the rocks. Today there was a lot of activity in plastering a field jacket around the O grid section. Joe, Terry, Josiah and the others were plastering a bone mass. We came back after lunch but it was very hot and worked more. We left the dig site after 3 PM for a break and returned to it about 5 PM. Also turned over the field jacketed block of bones over. It was filmed by Ian Juby (who took over from the regular site videographer, David Lines).
Later I asked why some creationists aren’t willing or interested in using artifacts like the Paluxy tracks and the Ica Stones. It was said that creationists have so much to contend with that they don’t want to have to deal with such controversial evidence like the Paluxy tracks. Dr. Baugh feels that evolutionists have so concentrated their attacks on the Paluxy tracks that creationists don’t want to deal with the added burden. Also is the issue of “too good to be true” evidence.
